This work activity involves using wood to construct buildings, furniture and temporary structures such as concrete forms and false work. Specific tasks include, for example, framing and sheathing floors, walls, stairs and roofs using wood and metal studs, installing cabinets, doors, counter-tops and moldings, and constructing suspended ceiling systems. This database includes an analysis of the hazards associated with these tasks, as well as practical measures for making such work safer.
