This work activity involves the installation and maintenance of electrical transmission, supply and control systems, wiring and cutting, shaping and placing conduit. Specific tasks include, for example, pulling wire through structures and conduits, attaching outlets and fixtures, climbing poles and structures as well as carrying wire and cables. This database includes an analysis of the hazards associated with these tasks, as well as practical measures for making such work safer.
